Opportunity for publication

Since 2014, Archaopress has been UISPP’s default partner for the publication for the proceedings from its world congresses and inter-congress meetings (https://www.archaeopress.com/Archaeopress/Search/UISPP). Organizers of sessions at the Salatiga congress who wish to avail of this opportunity are kindly requested to contact the General Secretariat at: proceedings@uispp.org

An alternative outlet for the non-open access publication of proceedings volumes exists though the series of scientific publications of the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology of Monaco.

Since 1954, the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology of Monaco has been publishing its annual Scientific Bulletin, a multilingual reference journal whose articles are peer-reviewed by an international editorial board.

In addition, the Museum also publishes special issues (supplements) as well as proceedings of international conferences, including volumes from the UISPP congress held in Romania in 2023, the Conference of Villefranche-sur-Mer (organized by the Association for the Safeguard of the Maritime Heritage of Villefranche-sur-Mer), and the Arwana Conference. The Scientific Bulletin published by the Museum also welcomes individual article submissions for its regular issues.
